Living With The Knowledge Of God

“But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.”
                                                                                            – Daniel 11:32
Daniel was a young man living in exile in a foreign land. Nothing in that land was familiar to him. Externally, everything in Daniel’s life had changed, yet  his relationship with Jehovah God did not change. His relationship with his Creator and Sovereign Lord was not affected because it was not dependent on external factors such as location, customs and practices.
Daniel was steadfast and immoveable in his devotion and love towards God because he fellowshipped and related intimately with his God. This knowledge of God caused Daniel to stand firm and live holy in a sinful land filled with idolatrous practices that incurred the wrath of God. How well do you know your God?
Does your knowledge of Him enable you to stand in righteousness and holiness among those who would cause you to behave and act in a manner that would displease your God?
